701 Specialist Housekeeping 2
Supervise day-to-day housekeeping, laundry and related functions to include staffing, supply ordering and supervision to ensure policy and standards are met.
+ Ensure equipment and work areas are clean, safe and orderly. Enforce strict adherence to procedures regarding cleaners or hazardous materials or objects. Ensure Universal precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety, and sanitation practices and procedures are followed. Promptly address any hazardous conditions and equipment. Assist others in lifting as requested and function as a working supervisor in all areas of responsibilities as the department?s budgeted hours and workload require
+ May supervise staff in all aspects of cleaning and maintaining the facility interior, grounds and linens; ensure residents? rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner and that residents? personal items are safeguarded; ensure cleaning schedules are followed; and coordinate daily housekeeping services with other departments. Ensure laundry is processed timely and adequate par levels are maintained.
+ Partner with Facility Maintenance to develop a cohesive Environmental Services Department
+ Attend and participate in educational activities, in-service training, and staff meetings; assist in orientation and training other staff
+ Other duties as assigned or needed
Must adhere to the Company?s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics policy including documentation and reporting responsibilities
Minimum three (3) years experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job
High School Diploma or equivalentMust be capable of maintaining regular attendance
Must possess computer skills at a level necessary to accomplish the job
Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directionsMust be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information
Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels
Mobility, reaching, bending, lifting (minimum of 10 pounds), fine hand coordination, ability to read and write, the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and directions, ability to travel, and ability to remain calm under pressure

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
