Requirements:
- Active CA license
- BLS
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the provision of physical therapy consultation, evaluation and services to clients.
- Provide treatment in the areas of motor function and development, mobility and ambulation skills.
- Assess the need for adaptive equipment, mobility aids, seating and positioning systems and therapy interventions as needed.
- Complete reports or assessments/evaluations and progress notes utilizing facility's approved documentation forms in the residents chart.
- Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
- Work effectively with fellow medical staff and treatment team members.
- Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures while delivering optimal patient care.
- Comply with all best practice standards for services to people with intellectual disabilities.
- Any other duties as assigned.
